Na Hong-jin was the first and still the only commercial auteur to really make a name for himself in the shadow of Korean cinema's Bong Jong-hos and Park Chan-wooks, and it's amazing that is has taken five years to return to the helm. Not much is known of the story but Na has assembled a killer cast, though only time will tell if they'll be able to match the powerful Kim Yun-seok/Ha Jung-woo combos of his previous works.

  1. The Director Na Hong Jin is 2/2 as most of the Korean thriller movie fans agree about it. Both 'The Chaser' and 'The Yellow Sea' were Great.

And now this, titled as 'The Wailing' seems like a brilliant movie. The Cast are Great no doubt. Hwang Jung Min and Kwak Do-Won.
