Yoo Ha's gangster epic Gangnam Blues will be released in China next month but local viewers will be treated to a different cut of the film. In order to capitalize on star Lee Min-ho's big fan base in the region, changes were made affecting his character.
The new cut will include a different ending, as well as a number of scenes featuring Lee that didn't make it into the original cut, including ones developing the relationship with his love interest, played by Seol-hyun (a member of Kpop group AOA).
Currently in its third week of release in Korea, the film topped the two million admissions mark yesterday.
