Plot: A detective and a shaman seek to uncover the truth behind a series of grisly murders in a country village after the arrival of a mysterious stranger.

What to expect: It’s been far too long since we’ve seen a Na Hong-jin film and this one seems dark, creepy and mysterious, and has a very exciting cast, including the red-hot Hwang Jung-min, star of last year’s best commercial Korean film Veteran. The excellent Kwak Do-won and Chun Woo-hee are also along for the ride and the buzz so far is very good. Very good chance we might see this pop up in the Cannes lineup.

When can we see it? Fair chance it’ll bow at Cannes, and with Fox behind it may not take long to travel after that.
