Most Anticipated Korean Films of 2016

6. Home Sweet Home
행복이 가득한 집
Dir: Lee Kyoung-mi (Crush and Blush , 2008)
Cast: Son Ye-jin (The Pirates, 2014), Kim Ju-hyeok (The Servant, 2010)
Production: Film Train
Distribution: CJ Entertainment
Filming Dates: 2014-09-20 ~ 2015-01-11
Status: Post-Production
Genre: Thriller, Drama

Plot: A politician and his wife get involved in a mysterious scandal as their daughter goes missing just 15 days before the national election.

What to expect: Lee Kyoung-mi, following the brilliant Crush and Blush, finally returns with Home Sweet Home. Expected this one last year but apparently CJ has been paying quite a bit of attention to it, which admittedly could either be good or bad news, but I’m leaning towards the former.

When can we see it? Depends how confident CJ is with it. Spring is risky, but that might be when it gets a slot. Outside shot for Cannes.
