23. Missing You
널 기다리며
Dir: Mo Hong-jin (Our Town, 2007)
Cast: Shim Eun-kyoung (Miss Granny, 2014),Yoon Je-moon (Mother, 2009)
Production: DCG Plus
Distribution: Contents Panda (Next Entertainment World)
Filming Dates: 2014-12-22 ~ 2015-03-29
Status: Completed
Genre: Thriller

Plot: Hee-joo loses her father as a seven-year-old. 15 years later, she’s waiting for the killer to be released from prison.

What to expect: Billed as the ‘thriller debut’ of ace young starlet Shim Eun-kyoung, Missing You looks dark, slick and bloody, but also very formulaic. We’ve seen this before, but when done well it’s always worthwhile. Hopefully this can follow in the vein of 2013’s under-the-radar genre treat The Five.

When can we see it? Comes out in Korea in March.
